The rational mind is a faithful servant, the intuitive mind is a sacred gift. We have created a society that honours the servant and has forgotten the gift - Albert Einstein

Heralds of a New Future

Senior business leaders are struggling more than ever to manage the unprecedented technological, social and environmental forces that are transforming our world. The pressures of leading in an environment of such complexity and volatility can exact a heavy toll – personally and professionally. To survive and thrive they must include yet transcend mindsets and capacities that, while once very effective, now contribute to the problem.

To face the scope and threats of 21st-century challenges, today’s leaders must possess potent powers for logic, reason, discernment and strategic forecasting. Yet, they must also be empathic and therefore embodied; grounded and therefore intuitive. They must be skilled in mindfulness and deep listening; present and receptive to higher levels of insight and innovation; able to inspire authentic engagement and collaboration; and possess a clear and wholehearted sense of service, mission and purpose.

These are leaders who embody and transmit deep Presence

This is a Leader as Healer

I’ve asked Nicholas to teach in every major leadership development program I run at the IMD Business School and elsewhere. Why? Because I’ve never seen anyone have a more sustainable, transformational impact on leaders than he does. He’s simply the best.

Michael Watkins Author of The First 90 Days and Professor of Leadership at IMD

“I run think tanks for CEO’s and business owners in Manhattan who want to develop their leadership. My members are ‘movers and shakers’ who demand value from every meeting. I invited Nicholas to speak at two retreats. They reported ‘”it was our best retreat ever” and many of them are still talking about it…”

Mark Taylor Master Chair, Vistage International

Nicholas’ presence, ability to relate (on many levels) and deeply connect with me and my management staff has profoundly impacted how the team works together and leads.  The teaching he provides is a perfect blend of concepts and embodied activities that has resulted in immediate, transformative change.  I can’t wait to see what we create next…

David Graffy President, ProLift Industrial Equipment

“Nicholas Janni is quite exceptional as a man leading transformational work at this time in the world. As a trusted colleague he is simply a joy to work with – because he has developed the capacity to focus and listen so intently, and with such perception, that profound change takes place. When he works with parties in conflict, they can begin to understand the feelings of the ‘other’, moving from the head to the heart. Supporting corporate clients, he can enable shifts in the level of consciousness in an entire room. This is transformational skill at the highest and most sophisticated level.”

Core Principles

This work is above all a call to break from the chronically imbalanced ways of thinking and functioning that have become the norm in so many corporate cultures, where doing eclipses being, and hyper-rational, analytical thinking relegates feeling, sensing, intuiting and the transpersonal to the outer fringes of life.

New leadership models draw on a much wider range of human faculties – intuitive as well as rational, receptive as well as pro-active, emotional as well as analytical, imaginative as well as logical, symbolic as well as literal, and right and left brain.

This transformational work enables individuals and teams to build high levels of resilience, connectedness, and multi-level intelligence - Nicholas Janni

This transformational work is above all practical and immediately applicable.

It enables individuals and teams to unlock and optimize all dimensions of themselves – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual – to bring these to full expression, and to live into their deepest sense of purpose, potential and service.

The work is based on over thirty years of dedicated research and practice of creativity and ‘the zone’ of peak performance. Individuals and teams learn the disciplines and practices that embed, develop and maintain the highest levels of presence and performance.

It’s more essential than ever that leaders liberate themselves from the narrow bandwidth of perception that we learn from an early age. This bandwidth is dominated by the rational mind, which seeks always to reduce everything to certainties.

We need leaders who are playing on a much bigger game board, who are committed to self-knowledge and healing and to a path of development that opens them to much higher levels of the intelligence and wisdom that are urgently needed now.
