Building Innovation Capacity

Through thirty years of dedicated research and practice of creativity and ‘the zone’ of peak performance, we have learnt that there is an inner science of the principles and practices of innovation. This science allows individuals and teams to cultivate consciously and consistently the ground out of which innovation can flourish.

  • Cultivating the receptive ground from which innovation flourishes
  • Moving beyond our habitual impulse to control and predict our circumstances
  • Learning to value and sit more comfortably with uncertainty/unknowing
  • Finding a deeper balance of Being and Doing
Leaders and teams who are unable to access and operate from these deeper levels will depend on imitating others, and on recycling familiar patterns, ideas and behaviours. - Nicholas Janni

The call of the Future

“The idea came to me” is a sentence we hear frequently from scientist, artists, entrepreneurs and  innovators in all fields. This has three initial implications.

– New ideas come from somewhere beyond our everyday mindset.

– Our main task in the innovation cycle is to learn how to be more consciously and consistently receptive.

– Genuine innovation is by nature ahead of its time and brings a higher version of the reality we currently live in.

The topics covered in this programme include:
Understanding the importance of uncertainty in the innovation process.
Practicing ‘beginner’s mind’.
Opening to ‘fields of unknowing’, and practicing how to rest, explore and navigate there.
Listening and looking for the quality of emergence.
Learning how to position oneself as a receptive container.
Knowing when to ‘be’ and when to ‘do’ – the balancing of masculine and feminine polarity.
Attuning to the higher potential of yourself, your team, your organisation.
Aligning with emerging fields of a higher collective intelligence.
Becoming sensitised to the ‘call of the future’.
